My Past Life Regression Experience

Recently I had an amazing new metaphysical experience - I had the pleasure of being guided through a Past Life Regression with a trained practitioner!

A Past Life Regression involves being put into a state of hypnosis, or "Theta Wave" state, in order to bypass the conscious mind and access memories, experiences, and states of being that are outside our typical daily sensing of time, space, matter, etc.

I've done a lot of my own organic work in my meditation and spiritual practice to access past lives and ancestors, and I've seen a hypnotist before for healing work. This was my first time combining hypnosis with past life work, and it was really powerful.

Theta Wave state is essentially a wakeful state of dreaming, and my memory of the experience feels like just that - a dream. I remember the beginning and the end clearly, but the middle is fuzzy (luckily we recorded the whole thing). The practitioner I worked with first helped me get comfortable in a warm, quiet space with dim lighting. She eased me into Theta state with a series of comforting phrases, and then simply began prompting me with simple questions like "Where are you now? Can you go back further? What do you see?" and just let me speak out loud in a stream of consciousness until she felt I needed another prompt.

And speak I did! What felt to me like a 40 min restful nap with a little bit of talking at the beginning and end was actually a 2hr and 40 min session where I was speaking nonstop, describing not just different different incarnations of myself, but different worlds, different beings, different universes, and even different dimensions!

The difference between this experience and my own past life work was that the memories I accessed under hypnosis were cosmic in scale, bigger and older than anything I've seen before.

I was able to access my Highest Self as my very first incarnation of energy, and I was a massive, glorious being made of space dust. Almost unimaginably large in scale, universe-dwarfing in scale, I was one of four cosmic beings expanding outward in my quadrant of space by sensing golden "cracks" and metabolizing divine liminal energy to create brand new dimensions on the bleeding edge of reality itself.

I use the word "divine" specifically, because my fellow dimension-creator beings each had a specific kind of liminal energy in their own quadrant. My quadrant was divine, with glowing gold cracks. Another being, whom I referred to under hypnosis as "my sister," was expanding new elemental dimensions through glowing magenta cracks, and I could sense that our two kinds of energy played together harmoniously. The other two quadrants felt slightly less harmonious to me in frequency but not incompatible per se - there was a Creation quadrant with glowing teal cracks and an Entropy quadrant with glowing blue-black cracks.

I've really just scratched the surface so far, in terms of relaying what I saw. And I'm still processing it all myself. But suffice it to say, it was both fascinating and enriching and I came away from it feeling the strongest connection to my Higher Self that I've ever felt!
