Free Services We Offer the Community

The MPA practitioners bring diverse cultural and metaphysical backgrounds together to offer a variety of services to the community, ranging from basic spiritual diagnostic to psychopomp work, individual ritual design to help with untethering and healing, and group ritual design to help honor the deceased and say goodbye. As a group of eclectic queer pagans, our priority is to customize meaningful experiences of mourning and transition for all those who feel left out of the “traditional” capitalist and dogmatic funeral-industrial complex, so that all souls are celebrated and no one feels left behind.

Ritual Design for Grief & Loss: Personal

 We will create a ritual within a framework you connect with that best aligns to your personal belief systems to help facilitate death rituals such as 

  • Mourning

  • Untethering

  • Healing

  • Protection/Fortification

 

Ritual Design for Grief & Loss: Group

 In lieu of or supplemental to traditional funeral practices, we can create communal nontraditional death rituals such as

  • Honoring & celebrating the deceased

  • Somatic expressions of grief

  • Delivering final communications

  • Final goodbye and sendoff

 

Psychopomp Services:

This is an area of specialization we offer, regarding folks very near death (and oftentimes nonverbal) or recently passed and dwelling in a place between life and death.

  • Morisentience (sensing the dying) – sensing how close folks are to death and what is holding them back.

  • Twilight Telephone – Connecting with folks dying or in places between life and death (such as a coma or in and out of consciousness or lucidity) and giving or receiving messages to help them communicate what is holding them to the mortal plane. 

  • Easing Passage – Connecting with someone close to passing and guiding them through the process of release

  • Crossover Check-In – Connecting with recently passed individuals to see where they are on the journey to crossing over.

  • Guiding the Lost – Spiritually journeying into the place between life and death to help those who are lost or unsure find their way to the next place on their path.
